Actual function aside, the design is impressive. Baekhyun remembers old videos of the female android that didn’t even have the back of her head covered. “We have come a looong way.” Physical customization options are advertised for the near future, but even the stock designs are attractive and definitely fit the promise of realism.

Some brave soul shares a short video as part of their review, showing their KissAI climbing over her while stripping off its shirt in a motion more fluid than Baekhyun’s partners have ever managed.

“That’s some experienced porn star stripping. I wish I could do that.” Oh, to be the researcher studying adult entertainment for the sake of science and product improvement.

The only bad remarks he finds are the usual uncertainties and outright rejections of the future of technology. Relying on computers for everything will just give way to the inevitable rise of androids and the downfall of humanity.

At this point, Baekhyun welcomes it. Society is dancing around screwing itself entirely and needs to just get heavily fucked and deal with the limp.

He sets his phone aside and scoots down more comfortably in bed. Maybe he should get something like a KissAI. It sounds pretty perfect. Sexual gratification without the commitment or misunderstandings.

The next time he calls Jongdae, his best friend, he very casually brings it up.

“You hear about the new sex bot?”

To his credit, Jongdae accepts the remark without pause. “KissAI? It was on the news a little while ago; stocks are soaring, so they claim, and it’s not just a sex bot.”

“I’m thinking about getting one.”
